The New Fascism Syllabus

A crowd-sourced collection of writings on the history of fascist, populist, and authoritarian movements and governments during the 20th and 21st centuries. The #NewFascismSyllabus is intended to serve as a popular entryway into the scholarly literature for those seeking deeper insights into how past societies gravitated towards and experienced varieties of right-wing authoritarianism.


Zapruder World: An International Journal for the History of Social Conflict (ISSN: 2385-1171)

A Drupal-based online publishing platform for Zapruder World. Drupal is an open source Content Management System (CMS) software, which allows multiple users to collaboratively manage a website’s contents and features. Using Drupal (and Adobe Photoshop), I designed both the administrative infrastructure for Zapruder World and its user interface aesthetics.


Abina and the Important Men: A Graphic History (Oxford University Press, 2011)

A promotional website for Trevor Getz’s Abina and the Important Men. In addition to providing users with a collection of scholarly book reviews of Abina, media coverage of the book’s publication, and a general description of the book’s contents, the website features an interactive timeline, a collection of additional primary sources on the topic of slavery in West Africa, high-resolution maps, PowerPoint presentations, and sample lesson plans for any professor interested in using Abina in his or her own classroom.
